Kyrgyzstan carries the Caravan into high mountain rangelands where the Silk Road once climbed through passes and valleys, and where pastoral mobility remains a defining feature of life. The journey rises into a world of mountain splendour, where green summer pastures unfurl between dramatic peaks, horses graze across the highlands and bright, snow-fed rivers cut through open valleys. High passes reveal breathtaking vistas, and the crisp alpine air carries the sense of a landscape shaped by season, movement and tradition. It is an invigorating and deeply memorable stretch of the journey, inviting the traveller into highland scenery that feels both majestic and lived-in.
